Hey Friend!
I am excited to support you and your idea. I love all ideas. Business ideas. Book ideas. Creative ideas. I’ve worked with 100s of businesses, creatives, and non-profits to take their little seed of an idea and grow it into reality.
My process is different.
I’m going to:
meet you where you are,
provide you with tools to get in action,
and deal with that inner critic
I’m also going to let you borrow my confidence when you need it and hold up a mirror for you so you can see that the seed, that idea is part of your natural brilliance.
No more dulling your shine. No more questioning your enoughness. No more waiting.
Why am I so passionate about you and your idea? Because I’ve seen what regret can do to a person.
45 years of Studying Regret
This website, my teaching, my coaching it’s the culmination of what I learned about regret.
45 years. I studied regret. It’s also the number of years I was my father’s daughter.
I was very little when I first saw the letter on his desk. It was in color with raised letters. I used to like to run my fingers over the bumps. When I got older, I knew the letter was from North Carolina State. That’s where my Dad got a scholarship to play football.
I saw that letter for years on his desk, but I never read it. I finally read it a few weeks before my wedding. It was from his football coach and went something like this,
Many years later, I asked him about the letter. I asked him why he kept it out on his desk for so long. He said he liked to look at it and think about what might have been.
His answer answered so many questions for me. It explained why at times he was so unhappy. It explained why he was so hard on himself. It explained why he kept so busy. You see if he was busy, he could drown out those thoughts.
So I learned to be busy too. But in my early 30’s I knew something was wrong. I had already ended up in the hospital with a kidney problem from working too hard. I had my own environmental consulting business and I was miserable. Something had to change and I knew in my heart that something was me.
I went all in at the Self-Help section of my local bookstore. I went to therapists, conferences and being a scientist, I performed experiments to see what was working and why. I even manifested a meeting with Harry Connick, Jr.
After a few years, I had an urge, an inner knowing that I had to teach what I was learning and applying. I spoke to whomever would invite me and one day a lady came up to me asked me if I was a coach.
I looked at many coaching programs until I decided to study with Dr. Robert Holden to become a Certified Success Coach. But my education didn’t stop there. I’ve also studied some of the coolest people in the self-empowerment, mindset, and coaching fields. People like Lisa Nichols, Cheryl Richardson, Gregg Braden and Steve Harvey. Yes, the same Steve Harvey from TV.
As I studied with these thought leaders, I realized life is just a big experiment. So I mixed the mojo of science, soul and sustainability to develop a fun, pragmatic, spirit full path to success for my clients.
In 2017 I was recognized by new age publishing giant as a Mover and Shaker which landed me a six month mentoring program with their CEO, Reid Tracy. That mentorship program helped me to develop my signature program Sustainable Soul which I will be presenting at TEDx Asbury Park.
